PS&D Supervisor

Job Description   Support PS&D operations in achieving targeted business goals with regard to safety, finishing, shipping and leadership. This role is designed for a technically capable individual with a strong drive for results.  This is a key position in the mill's finished products organization, providing tactical leadership to Shipping and Converting, with a department of approximately 45 employees. Successful candidate will have the potential to move within 2-3 years into a higher level management position.   Required Skills   ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead and support PS&D Safety initiatives by demonstrating safe behaviors and a commitment to creating a safe work environment. Manage costs to established goals within the department. Ensure mill provides superior customer service in: On-time delivery Adherence to order quantity Damage-free shipments Lead PS&D people initiatives by fostering an environment that develops crew engagement and accountability. Manage department SOPs and support adherence to Mill policies. Lead mill efforts in transit damage reduction. Lead mill efforts to adopt Verso Best Practices in transportation & warehousing practices. Provide daily supervision and leadership to all crews in the Shipping Department, Roll Finishing and Rewinders. Ensure that all PS&D equipment is properly maintained and functionally operative to obtain optimum performance in a safe and effective manner. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
